Once again, it is time for the annual Open House arrangement at Grenaa Gymnasium for everyone who is considering applying to Grenaa Gymnasium when the new school year starts in August 2012.
Headmaster Ole Fjord gives an introduction to the three youth educations offered at the school, including the IB Diploma, which IB-koordinator Kirsten Bech Hansen will be able to give you much more information on. Feel free to ask questions.
Furthermore, you can obtain personal guidance from one of our student counsellors.
There will be a break in which the school offers a cup of coffee and the boarding school offers samples from its kitchen.
Students and teachers will demonstrate teaching aspects and will, of course, answer questions concerning not only the academic contents of subjects but also about what life is like at the school in general.
You will be able to visit the Global Group's booth and hear about the support family contact option for IB students.
Last, but not least, you can get a guided tour of the school's boarding school department where many of our IB students live.
7.pm - 7.25 pm: Guided tour of boarding department. We meet in the main entrance hall of the school and walk together across the road to the boarding department
7.30pm - 8.00 pm: Introduction by headmaster Ole Fjord in the assembly hall (main building)
8.00pm - 8.25pm: Information on IB Diploma by IB coordinator Kirsten Bech Hansen in room 25
8.30pm - 9.00: Have a cup of coffee in the canteen. Information on the boarding department by staff and students
9.05pm - 9.30: Guided tour of the boarding department. We meet in the canteen at the stand of the boarding department
